ARC Review : The One

Book Title : The One
Book Author : John Marrs
My Rating : ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Publication Date : May 4th 2017

“How far would you go to find THE ONE?”

I was lucky enough to get an advanced copy of this book by @penguinukbooks in an exchange for an honest review.

A Psychological Thriller and Romance (My two favorite genres in one book, how cool is that?) that revolves around a DNA test that would find you your match. Forget the hassle of “kissing that many frogs” when a simple test can lead you to your true love.

The book follows five people who take their chances, put their fates into the test, meet their match and all FUN begins from there.

I was seriously not able to put the book down! I was ‘flipping’ like a mad women through the pages, hanging on to every word trying to make sense of what’s going on. I, literally, at some points had to put the book down for a breather and to digest what just went on. (I had to call them “wtf moments”).

It was a super-fast paced read that I totally relished and devoured in two sittings on a busy weekday. It was so hard for me to choose a favorite out of the five characters and their plot lines, as i kept changing my mind from chapter to chapter.

I would, without hesitation, strongly recommend this book as it was easy for me to rate it as five stars. Would I check other books by John Marrs? You bet I would!
